The company justpurchaseda greenfield disposal facility that it will use for solid and oil waste from drilling operations. Nuverra wants to be the one-stop shop for any waste-related business in the oil and gas industry, and this move is a step in that direction. In this video, Fool.com contributor Tyler Crowe looks at how this will fit into the company's business model and what investors in the company should watch for in the future.

This study is really great news for the oil and gas industry. However, it gets even better as technological advances by Halliburton (NYSE: HAL ) are virtually eliminating much of the concerns over fracking fluid and the industry's freshwater usage. The company has developed a fracking fluid based on ingredients found in the food industry. Further, the company is in the process of rolling out a produced water recycling system that would recycle wastewater onsite. It has recently partnered with Nuverra Environmental Solutions (NYSE: NES ) to move forward a roll out of the system in the Bakken shale. The system would not only save millions of gallons of fresh water and hundreds of thousands of truck trips, but it would also save money. With fracking being much safer than once thought, it means the oil and gas industry won't be slowing down anytime soon.

Genesis Energy (NYSE: GEL )
The final stock to get on your dividend watchlist is Genesis Energy. The company's business is split between pipeline transportation, refinery services, and supply and logistics, as you can see on the slide below. In addition to the assets it already has on the books, Genesis has a number of projects in the pipeline to drive future growth. Genesis estimates that these projects will enable it to provide distribution growth to investors in the low double digits well into the future. Genesis has quite the history to back those estimates up as the company has 31 consecutive quarters of distribution increases, including 26 which were more than 10%.
